2022 saw us deliver nearly 200 tour shows for a brilliantly diverse range of artists including Carolesdaughter, Cavetown, Frances Forever, Katie Malco, Maybeshewill, Mini Trees, Grace Petrie, Real Friends, Rolo Tomassi, Svalbard and Tiny Moving Parts – including some of the biggest shows of our career to date.
We continued to deliver successful album campaigns for both Grace Petrie – for whom ‘Connectivity’ entered the UK top 40 album chart in 2021 – and Maybeshewill – whose move to releasing independently could not have gone more smoothly – despite global supply chain issues, Brexit and the Pandemic.
We are excited to continue to provide management, label and touring services to our roster of clients from around the globe.
With priorities shifting to a focus on these services, 2022 saw us promote our final stand-alone events, ending an 18 year run of bringing international artists to Leicester (and beyond) for headline shows. We also called time on our decade-old club night, PLUG, with an absolutely incredible final New Years party at Firebug.
The inaugural Forgotten Futures event at Leicester’s Y Theatre was a creative success, making use of an already unique venue in a completely new way. We are excited for its return to the city in 2023.
Handmade Festival, our collaboration with Firebug and The Cookie, will also return for its 10th anniversary event in the city in 2023.
Re-focussing our attention on the things we’re really good at, and continue to care passionately about has been important for us, but we hope we can continue to bring exciting music to Leicester as we approach our 20th anniversary in 2024.
